Well the camera I currently have is a Panasonic DMC-FZ10, something like 4.0 MP, really a good digital camera, with a nice screen on back and macro mode. That's what all the pictures in my gallery were taken with. But that camera died. :( All the buttons stopped working at once!!! So I was looking at newer models of that camera, and there was one for around $400 with 16.0 MP, don't know if it was dslr or not, but I HAVE to have a 12x zoom or better or I cry like a little girl. :D What would you recommend? :D

That one would be considered a bridge camera. :nod: I have experience with Fujifilm bridge cameras, but I'm not sure what I would recommend to you. I sometimes have to play with them a little in the store before I can decide. :) How long did you have your Panasonic?

We had this Panasonic for oh IDK, about 10-11 years? It's pretty old for a digital camera. What do you mean bridge camera? What is that?

A bridge camera is the class of cameras that are between point-and-clicks and dslrs. :)
